location: Kelsey Lake 7400 Merced Falls Road, Snelling, CA 95369
details: According to some members this is the best Bass in Northern California. Please contact Tom for payment and lunch arrangements. Tom needs a head count before you go because drivers will need a parking permit. Snelling is 2 ½ to 3 hour drive from the Peninsula.
fees: Fee of $75.00 per person.

  Kistler Ranch

location: Kistler Ranch, east of Oakdale and Knight's Ferry on Hwy 120.

details: This is a great time, a very social occasion, spiced up with good fishing. The rains this year mean plenty of water and the prospects for healthy, aggressive fish. You may sign-up at any of the general meetings or workshop nights.
fees: $20.00 per person.

  Bear Creek Backpack Trip
date: Aug 19 -25
location: Bear Creek, Sierra National Forest, East of Fresno
quarry: rainbow, brook, and golden trout
details: Up Bear Creek to Muir Trail, over Selden Pass and out to Florence Lake.  Straight through distance is only 23 miles but there will be side trips to many lakes off the trail. Plan is to travel to trailhead at the diversion dam, leaving a car for shuttle at the end at Florence.

details: We will stay at Marble Mountain Ranch  which has house keeping cabins, and full house. There's a convenient restaurant for breakfast, bag lunches, and dinner. Guide service is available.
