Restore Moffett Wetlands

from Jennifer Jackson
Save The Bay

June 2003

The Navy continues to stall on cleaning up its toxic mess at Moffett Field. We need your help to keep the pressure on! Please contact Senator Barbara Boxer and ask her to urge the Navy to complete a full cleanup of Superfund Site 25, a stormwater retention pond. If completely cleaned of PCBs, heavy metals and other toxins, this former tidal wetland could be restored to vital Bay habitat.

Senator Barbara Boxer can be reached at (415) 403-0100 or you can send her an email at http://boxer.senate.gov/contact/webform.cfm

Please see http://www.savesfbay.org/moffett.html for more information on our campaign.
