It's that time of year again! As usual one of the highlights of the
Annual Holiday Dinner is the silent auction for flies
tied and donated by all of you. The proceeds from this auction are an important
source of funding for club events. Help out by tying one or more boxes of
your favorite flies and donating them to the club. It's fun and it is often
a real ego booster to see how much others are willing to pay for your flies.

Featured presentation will be on the Delta and Delta water export issues, striped bass and related habitat. This is the best way to get up to date on
Northern California conservation issues that impact fly fishing. Rodney Chun will be attending as the PFF representative, and welcomes any and all interested

| | New PFF Email Broadcast Service Rollout |

In an effort to make our communication system more efficient, we will be introducing a new email service which will enable us to broadcast messages such as the announcement of the monthly speaker to our members. The new system, provided by Yahoo, will be similar to the Fishing Buddies scheme, but each
message will require a moderator's explicit permission before it can be relayed to the members. You will receive an introductory email from Yahoo groups, probably in November, when we add your email to the list. |
