Newbie-Member Fishout on the McCloud |
| open slots: |
Update Some slots are still open: three rods on Saturday, one rod Sunday. |
| details: |
I have four rods reserved for this wonderful location which means three lucky members get to join me at the Preserve. To encourage newer members to particpate in PFF outings, initially this fishout will be open only to members who have joined the club since Jan 2003. (If we don't fill all the slots by the September General Meeting, "seasoned" members will be welcome to join us.) |
| accomodations: |
Generally, fishers camp at the nearby Ah-Di-Nah campground, which, unbelievably, features real plumbing. It is also possible to stay in the town of McCloud and drive the twenty miles or so to the Preserve. Be warned that seven of those miles are on a bumpy dirt forest road, so it is generally slow driving. |
