Wayne Taylor
Mel Krieger and Wayne Taylor at the 2004 San Mateo International Sportsman's Expo

Just before finalizing the December website, we learned that Wayne Taylor, a good friend and former PFF president (1992-93), passed away in his sleep on Sunday night. Wayne will be missed dearly by all who's lives were touched by his talent and humor. Please join the rest of the club in extending our condolences to his wife, Barbara, and two sons Wayne Jr. and Brad. Services will be held on December 11, 2005 (Sunday) at the San Mateo Elk's Club starting at 2:00 PM and will be followed by a reception.

I've traveled through the mountains and the hills
I've fished the rivers and the rills.
I've often caught my limit of five or seven
And wonder, Do fish ever go to Heaven?

I hope the fish forgive Me when I die,
For I've asked forgiveness from God on high
Pray to God when I take that final sleep
That I'll think I'm really big enough to keep.
