The Master and His Fish

PFF president Rich Catanzaro

Roderick Haig Brown wrote in his work, The Master and His Fish, "The state of blissful ignorance combined with youthful clumsiness, is the perfect formula for success". Why else would so many of us continue in this sport and face the various challenges that may arise? Why else would our fishmasters and fellow club members strive for that next fishout? Why else would so many of us cram those little boxes full of multicolored, multi sized, crafted flies?

The challenge one might say. Yet another may say the varied environments that it affords us to spend time in. There are as may answers as there are members in the club. The great thing about the club is that it affords each of us an opportunity to assist one another, learn from one another and most of all to share our experiences and knowledge. Hopefully we will all strive to make the club a better place.
