New PFF Membership Roster for 2006/07
The old on-line roster has been replaced with a new
roster hosted on the web-master's own personal site, SoftHackle.com.
The new system is easy to use but requires more effort to access. I think
you'd agree that in this age of identity theft and spam, this is a good thing.
Here are some of the features of the new system:
- Enhanced security.
- Members can edit their own entries whenever they wish.
- Members can search the database and view entries in different ways.
- Automatic maps showing a member's address.
- Contains the most up-to-date data.
Here are four essential facts you need to know before getting started.
- Your Username is your first and
last name that you wrote on your membership form, in lowercase letters.
So if your name is "John Trout" your username is: "johntrout".
- The password is the usual peninsula
fly fishers password, in all lowercase letters. You will
be asked by the system to change your password when you first use the system.
Because we are not using encryption, please use a simple password,
not your
favorite password that you use for, say, your online banking.
- To edit your own entry, click on your name to get to the "Person
View", then click on the "Edit this Record" link and add/edit your
information in the form that appears. Don't forget to click the "Save"
button before you leave this page.
- To exit, use the top menu and select Main -> Logoff.
