Fly Tying and Rod Building


Beginners Fly Tying with Harold Patterson

For those members who have interest in learning the basics of Fly tying come and enjoy Harold's class. No experience necessary


Intermediate & Advanced Fly Tying with Dave Kruss

Weitchpec Witch Fly, a classic Steelhead pattern originated on the Klamath.  The recipe follows and all participants should bring their tying tools as well as the specified materials:      

Material

Hook: Tiemco 7999 (#4-8); Thread: 6/0 black; Tag: gold metallic tinsel (fine); Tail: Golden Pheasant tippet; Rib: oval gold tinsel (small); Body: black dubbing (SLF, seal, etc.); Hackle: black; Wing: Bucktail or calftail (orange).
