Learning to Fly Fish the Surf -- Mini Fishout, June 1, 2019

Have you ever wanted to learn how to fly fish the "world’s largest stillwater", which is right in our backyard?  PFF is fortunate to have teamed up with expert surf fly fisher Mark Won, who has a deep passion for fly fishing the surf.

Mark has kindly offered to lead surf “mini” fishouts, which will be limited to maximum four (4) attendees.  This is so Mark can provide individualized and personalized instruction.  These are open to any current PFF member.  Our goal is allow any PFF who wants to learn to fly fish the surf to attend one of these mini fishouts, so going forward, priority will be given to members who have not yet attended a mini fishout.

We hope to host a few of these mini fishouts throughout late spring and summer.

DATE AND TIME:  Saturday June 1, meet 1 pm.  Fish until ~5-6 pm.

LOCATION: Ocean Beach, San Francisco, CA

We will meet at where Taraval Street intersects with the Great Highway.  Meet near the restrooms (across the roundabout at Taraval & 48th Avenue), see arrow. Parking is available curbside all along 48th Ave.
