February Workshop -- Fly Fish Baja Briefing and Intro to Fly Tying (All)

7:00 pm -- Fly Fish Baja California Briefing for 2020 Trip (Note early start time)

If you've ever been curious about fly fishing in salt water in the tropics, PFF's 2020 Baja California fishout to Baja's East Cape may be for you.  Members have caught dorado (mahi mahi), roosterfish, wahoo, skipjack tuna, and many, many more species there!  Compared to similar destination trips offered by outfitters and guides, PFF's trip is extremely affordable for members.  To top it all off, visitors can bring some of their catch home after it has been cleaned, filleted, packed and frozen.

PFF Board members Chris Willard and Bob Porter will review their plans for the 2020 fishout (June or October 2020) and will answer questions from any interested members.

7:30 pm -- Intro to Fly Tying Demonstration and "Try It Yourself!"

Have you ever wondered how to tie flies? How to transform a few feathers with some thread and a hook into something fish see as an inviting morsel?

Dan McMillan and Frank Cavaliere, PFF Fly Tying Co-Chairs, will be holding beginning fly tying sessions at the next few workshops. No experience necessary, it will be tailored for novices. Tools and materials will be supplied for the sessions. Just bring your desire to learn!
