The California Historical Society will host special viewing of select clips from the documentary film The Manzanar Fishing Club and a panel discussion. Richard Imamura, screenwriter and one of the producers of The Manzanar Fishing Club
, will be joined by internee fisherman Mas Okui, and local historian and author Stan Yogi for a panel discussion on the film and the issues it confronts. The presentation takes place at 5:30 pm, Thursday, November 3, 2011, at the California Historical Society (CHS) Museum, located at 678 Mission Street in San Francisco. Admission is free.
