Agenda Overview:
- We meet at the lake or a a predetermined location. On the first day, we can also meet anglers unfamiliar with the lake at an easier place to find along the way. The guide(s) will be at the lake at day break unless other plans have been made due to weather. Anglers can show up at their convenience in the morning.
- Breakfast is served at the fishing location on the beach around 8:30-9:00 am. Breakfast is bagels, coffee and juice.
- After breakfast there may be a need to move fishing locations depending on the wind and the fish.
Lunch is served around 1:00 pm at the fishing location and ranges from homemade soup and sandwiches to burgers or wraps depending on the weather.
- The guide(s) will stay with the group until late afternoon or later depending on the fishing.
·Guide fees
$425 including guide gratuity per angler for the two-day outing, with a 10 person limit
What's included:
Breakfast and lunch both days, including water, sports drinks, soft drinks and coffee.
All necessary gear including ladders, rods and reels, waders, flies etc. It is a good idea if the anglers bring their own waders and rods if they have them.
Accommodations:
Last year the club stayed at the Nugget Casino and Resort. Covid-19 guidelines have been lifted. Masks are optional.
For Reservations please contact Reservation line 775-356-3330. You must mention you are part of the PFF group and Rob Anderson's BUCKETLIST FLY FISHING for booking. You also have an e-mail option spa-res-sups@marnellgaming.com
There are several options for rooms including standard rooms, mini suites and two room suites. The rates at the Nugget are great and the location is perfect for fishing Pyramid. Free Airport Shuttle Service and Pick Up for Guided Trips as well.
Anglers can also use RFFO corporate account to get hotel rooms at a discounted rate at either the Silver Legacy (800-687-8733) or the Grand Sierra Resort (888-877-8944). When making reservations make sure you tell them you are booking your room under the corporate rate with Bucket List Fly Fishing. There is also camping at the lake if anglers have a hard-sided camper, RV etc. Days are long at the lake and the short 45-minute drive to Reno is recommended. Both hotels have 24-hour food, nice rooms and are a good choice after a lot of fishing at the lake. The rooms at the Grand Sierra are about $20 more a night but they offer a Junior Suite that has much more room for gear etc. for anglers sharing a room.
