Annual “Something Old & Something New” Swap Meet
Do you have any fly fishing gear that has been taking up way too much space in your house or storage areas? Do you have any rods, reels, fly tying materials, books, apparel etc. that you don’t use anymore? Is your spouse irritated about your overflowing fly tying area?! OR…
Are you a relatively new fly fisherman that might be looking for fly fishing equipment to get started or complement what you already have? Are you looking to purchase used quality gear, at an affordable price, but are hesitant to do so because you don’t trust the sellers in the online marketplaces?
WELL…DIG UP THAT UNUSED GEAR, BRING SOME CASH, AND JOIN US!
-At this year’s Swap Meet we are asking members to bring any extra equipment and gear that they are willing to donate to other members for free and display on tables.
-We are asking the recipients of this donated gear to provide a reasonable monetary donation to be collected for a charitable organization (to be named later). The amount doesn’t matter. Just the thought and some consideration for goods.
-We will be pooling all of the donating funds from the swap meet and will find a charity (TBD) where that money can be put to good use. For Sale items will also be allowed and will need to be labelled and managed properly.
LEARNING OPPORTUNITY: A Lost Coast Outfitters staff member will also be on hand for a short presentation on “Wading Safety: In the Surf” as well as showing off some of the HOT GEAR for 2025!
